Dr. Williams completed her medical degree at University of Connecticut School of Medicine and her pediatric residency at University of Chicago. She practiced for a decade in primary care in underserved communities and as a teaching physician before she specialized in Obesity medicine. She now works with children, teens and young adults in the Obesity division at Connecticut Children's where cares for patients in the medical and Bariatric tracks of the team in their ASMBS Center for Excellence accredited program. She also had a passion for health care information technology and has earned her Clinical Informatics board certification and serves as the Medical Director for the CI team at Connecticut Children's.

Nancy Trout, MD, MPH

Assistant Professor of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics

Co-Director Kohl’s Start Childhood Off Right (SCOR) Program

Dr. Nancy Trout completed her Medical Degree at University of Connecticut School of Medicine and her Certificate in Global Health and Master’s in Public Health at the University of Massachusetts with a focus on health disparities and early childhood obesity. She joined the Connecticut Children’s Primary Care Practice in 2017, after working for 22 years in the Pediatric Ambulatory and Primary Care Center at St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center in Hartford, CT. Dr. Trout also sees patients in Obesity and Weight Management at Connecticut Children’s and is co-director of the Kohl’s Start Childhood Off Right (SCOR) early childhood obesity prevention program in the Office for Community Child Health. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at University of Connecticut School of Medicine.
