Bijal Dave, MD, DABOM graduated medical school with honors from Mumbai University, earned a Masters in Public Health in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from the University of Southern Mississippi, and completed her residency in Family Medicine at the University of Buffalo and UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. With a focus on obesity medicine, she presented her research entitled “Weigh New Jersey” at the NJ Academy of Family Physicians and became a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine. Dr. Dave most recently brought her extensive primary care experience and weight management expertise to Advanced Cardiology, a private cardiology practice, in Hackettstown, Cedar Knolls, and Newton, NJ. As a passionate chef, she bridges cultural gaps by providing practical (and delicious!) nutrition advice on her website, Make Food Thy Medicine (https://makefoodthymedicine.com/) and can be followed on Twitter @makefoodthymedicine.
Rameck R. Hunt, MD, FACP, DABOM completed his medical school and residency training at Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, where he remains as Assistant Professor of Medicine. Board certified in both internal medicine and obesity medicine, he is the medical director of the Weight Management Program at the Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center. He is a New York Times bestselling author and regularly engages the patient community with educational seminars about individualized weight management (follow him on Twitter @DrRameckHunt). Dr. Hunt’s lifelong dedication to mentorship has led him to found the non-profit organization, The Three Doctors (https://www.threedoctors.com/), whose mission is to educate and inspire youth.
Amy Articolo, DO, FACOG, FACOOG, DABOM graduated from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Obesity Medicine. First a practicing obstetrician/gynecologist, she expanded her scope of care to becoming co-owner and medical director of the Salveo Weight Management Center, which focused on the chronic care treatment of the bariatric patient. Her dedication to obesity management and education has led her to become a long-time advisor and consultant for Novo Nordisk, where she is currently the Medical Director for their Non-Alcoholic Steatohepatitis (NASH) program, leading the medical, strategic, scientific, and operational expertise in the planning and execution of medical affairs in NASH. As a board member, Dr. Articolo has also contributed her time and expertise to a number of charitable organizations, including the Franklin Foundation for Innovation and the Obesity Treatment Foundation.
